Job Summary
Park and retrieve guest vehicles while escorting guests to rooms, providing luggage assistance, and transporting guests locally. Maintain safety of every guest vehicle, monitor traffic flow in the valet lot, and correctly enter vehicle information into the computerized system. Assist with securing keys, arranging guest transportation, and directing traffic while ensuring compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Greet guests in a pleasant manner, answer questions about the casino, spa, and hotel, and provide accurate directions and local attraction information. Maintain high personal appearance standards, keep curbsides clean, and perform various front office tasks as needed. Work open shifts including weekends and holidays in inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record)
- Minimum of one year driving experience
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather including wind rain heat cold
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Open schedule availability to include weekends and holidays
