Job Summary
Greet guests in a pleasant manner and ensure the safety of all guest vehicles while assisting with efficient delivery and retrieval. Approach every interaction with a friendly, service-oriented attitude to provide superior customer service. Secure guest keys, enter vehicle information into the computerized system, and place arrival tickets on the correct hooks. Monitor traffic flow, direct guests, and assist with luggage handling, wheelchair transportation, and answering questions about local attractions. Maintain cleanliness of work sites and curbsides, comply with all traffic laws, and perform various front office tasks as needed. Work in inclement weather and maintain composure under pressure. Located in downtown New Orleans near Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record)
- Minimum of one year driving experience
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to drive a manual or automatic transmission vehicle
- Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather including wind rain heat cold
- Ability to approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service oriented manner
- Ability to maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Ability to comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations
- Ability to greet guests in a pleasant manner

- Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation and reports of department activities and status including claim checks vehicle damage statements/billing and conditions that need repair
- Ability to assist in maintaining cleanliness of all work sites
- Ability to assist in all dispatch duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to help answer guest's questions regarding our casino spa and hotel
- Ability to assist hotel guests with their valet retrieval process
- Ability to correctly and efficiently enter guest vehicle information and location in the computerized valet parking system
- Ability to place the arrival tickets on the correct numbered hook
- Ability to monitor and document guest traffic flow in the valet lot
- Ability to assist in the speedy service of guests exiting valet
- Ability to maintain current listing of local and area attractions special events and activities
- Ability to maintain list of local transportation guides churches sports arenas etc
- Ability to provide information maps and directions as required
- Ability to obey all traffic laws on/off property
- Ability to assist with maintaining neat and clean curbside and keep free of debris and clutter
- Ability to assist with operation needs such as unloading and loading of luggage
- Ability to perform various front office tasks as needed
- Ability to assist with securing public spaces guest corridors and parking garage (as applicable)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
