Job Summary
Transport guests to and from the hotel and local attractions while assisting with restaurant and activity recommendations. Drive guests to designated locations, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and handle concierge duties with an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Load and unload luggage carts, escort guests to rooms, check and store luggage with tags, and deliver messages, flowers, and packages to guest rooms. Complete room changes, assist housekeeping with guest requests, and answer phones to support guest service agents. Maintain accurate listings of local attractions, events, and transportation guides, open doors, and provide information maps and directions. Conduct house counts by computer and show guest rooms to emphasize company amenities. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner while maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record)
- Minimum of one year driving experience
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
