Vail Health Patient Access Representative

Register patients, collect co-payments, and validate insurance information while obtaining consents and authorizations. Answer incoming communications, resolve non-clinical inquiries, and coordinate general requests with a customer-service oriented approach. Perform on-going documentation audits for medical necessity, schedule procedure appointments, and manage front desk supply inventory. Maintain accurate medical records, scan files, and forward correspondence to appropriate staff. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTLA, and CMS requirements, including Medicare eligibility checks and ABN maintenance. Work a full-time night shift from 11pm to 7:30am with an additional $6/hour differential.
