Job Summary
Carry out diagnosis and repairs for customers, plus routine maintenance, servicing and mechanical repairs on light commercials as part of the Heathrow Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Team. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs such as turbo, gearbox, engine and fuel system work, and general servicing, with ongoing training to progress toward VW CV standards. Benefits include an enhanced salary package (OTE up to around £49k+), overtime opportunities, 30 days leave, pension, cycle-to-work, and opportunities for career progression including VW Master Technician status.
Required Qualifications
- Diagnostic qualification from any Manufacturer
- Training needs assessment during probation
- EV qualification (optional but adds £2,000 per annum)
- Brand Accreditation in Diagnostics (preferred)
- Level 3 Qualification desired
- Several years experience with light commercial vehicles (preferred)
