Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure water blasting and industrial vacuum equipment for safe removal and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in heavy industrial settings. Identify mechanical issues to perform minor repairs or communicate problems to supervisors, and execute required decontamination processes to prevent cross-contamination. Demonstrate commitment to safety while meeting physical demands such as lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders up to 250 feet, and working in extreme temperatures or hazardous chemical atmospheres. Requires CDL Class A or B, Hazmat endorsement, and ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
- Required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders to heights of up to 250 feet
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- CDL Class A or B preferred
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement preferred
