Job Summary
Heat Treat Operator for 2nd shift operating vacuum furnaces, mixing/applying braze alloy, performing inspections (visual, Rockwell), calibrating equipment, recording data, and ensuring aerospace parts meet specifications in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience
- Ability to learn programming for computer controls
- Manual dexterity for handling small parts and measuring equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of AHT and VHT processes and procedures
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and understand work order instructions and station plans
- Experience and Training: Basic skills in vacuum heat treat, aluminum heat treat, slurry, and braze. Certifications in Rockwell, Conductivity, TYS, and Hotwork preferred.
