Vactor Mfg - Engineer Sr/ & Project Engineer

Develop layouts, parameters, and designs for new and existing product re-designs, utilizing mathematics and statistics to evaluate functionality and performance. Conduct feasibility studies, prepare preliminary cost estimates, and develop engineering specifications for materials or processes while communicating with vendors to develop component specifications. Fabricate mockups, build working prototypes, and troubleshoot product systems by working directly with technicians and assemblers to resolve issues. Coordinate project progress, monitor performance of designers and drafters, and develop new engineering standards based on revised product criteria. Serve as a resource to the Engineering Department, provide design guidance to Engineer I level engineers, and assist in vendor selection for Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance. May include travel to the field and trade shows.
