Job Summary
Safely operate vacuum trucks and associated equipment to perform excavation and industrial cleaning services for utility and infrastructure projects. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete daily service logs and inspection reports, and maintain vehicles in serviceable condition. Assist with job site setup and teardown, including connecting hoses and preparing equipment, while adhering to all safety policies, environmental regulations, and industry best practices. Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors to ensure work meets expectations. Maintain a clean, organized work area and promptly report any maintenance needs. Travel to job sites and work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating vacuum excavation equipment or hydro excavation trucks
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel to job sites and work overtime as needed
