Job Summary
Respond to inbound participant inquiries related to Veterans CareerBridge, conduct phone screens, and guide prospective individuals through enrollment and document submission. Maintain accurate participant records within TalentBase systems, send approved communications, and support outreach activities and events alongside leadership. Handle confidential information securely while participating in scheduled meetings and training. This remote, part-time role requires a VA Work Study Allowance Program participant enrolled in school, with flexible scheduling and attendance at approved meetings. Some evening events may occur, and a quiet workspace with reliable internet is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all eligibility requirements for the VA Work Study Allowance Program
- Must be actively using eligible VA education benefits
- Must be enrolled in school at a rate approved by the VA Work Study Program
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, dependable, and professional
- Comfortable speaking with participants over the phone
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to attend approved meetings and workforce related events
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer or laptop capable of supporting required systems and applications
Desired Qualifications
- Veteran, military spouse, or military affiliated background preferred
- Understanding of military culture and transition challenges preferred
- Interest in workforce development, human resources, recruiting support, business operations, or veteran services
- Degree path in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Public Administration, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems or administrative support tools is a plus
