Job Summary
Evaluate and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients within the home health setting, including screenings, direct therapy, and caregiver training. Coordinate patient care with office staff and physicians while maintaining records and communicating progress to families. Manage caseloads, refer patients to appropriate resources, and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs. Serve as a backup service provider and mentor new hires, while adhering to all company policies and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state-issued professional license
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience
- Home health experience
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
