Job Summary
Locum tenens OB/GYN in Richmond, VA with inpatient 24-hour call coverage (7 am–7 am) and about 200 deliveries per year, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Potential future outpatient coverage, with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Assignment details and time entry managed via online portal; Weatherby Healthcare consultant available for support. Charter member of NALTO; competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO or equivalent medical degree
- board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics/gynecology
- locum tenens experience preferred
- able to provide inpatient 24-hour call coverage
- comfortable with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
- current medical license in Virginia or the ability to obtain it
- certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
- paid malpractice insurance provided
- travel and housing expenses covered
