Job Summary
Provides unsurpassed patient experiences through selection of eyewear, accurate measurements, ordering, and fitting the patient to fulfill all of their eyewear needs. Serves as a leader in optical acumen, takes and records measurements precisely, assists peers with product needs, and collaborates with doctors and practice staff to ensure high-level patient care. Maintains organized dispensary appearance, operates the POS system with accuracy, supports weekends/evenings as needed, and upholds company policies while delivering exceptional customer service and sales in a fast-paced optical setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Active state optical licensure; must maintain license
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
- Strong basic math skills
- Sales skills
- Embraces new technology and change
- Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications
