V- Retail Assistant (All Duties)

Greet customers warmly, guide them through store areas, and assist with donations and material aid requests. Process sales transactions at the point of sale while answering enquiries in-store and over the phone. Maintain store appearance by ensuring displays are attractive, thoroughfares are clear, and floors are clean. Inspect items for functionality and presentation, then steam, clean, package, and sort goods for sale or disposal. Price all items according to standards and adhere to safe work practices, including child safety policies and hazard management. This role supports the Store Manager in fostering a culture of inclusiveness and community spirit. Volunteers receive on-the-job training and access to professional development opportunities within a caring environment.
