Job Summary
Prepare, negotiate, re-draft, and finalize office lease agreements for new and existing tenants, coordinating closely with leasing representatives to ensure timely execution. Deliver initial lease drafts using approved deal term sheets and forms, respond to tenant comments, prepare subsequent re-drafts, and provide execution documents via written or electronic signature. Support the operations team in developing new business initiatives and programs while assisting with training efforts. Manage multiple matters simultaneously with strong communication and reporting skills, utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and company technologies like Salesforce and Legal Tracker. Requires five or more years of experience in real estate leasing transactions and admission to the California Bar.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience representing clients in real estate leasing transactions
- Significant experience in office building leasing transactions
- Outstanding analytical, writing and lease drafting skills
- Team-first mentality - work well with others in a fast paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion to help others
- Practical and results oriented approach coupled with analytical rigor
- Ability to organize and manage multiple matters simultaneously, communicating with internal clients and delivering timely results
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Suite
- Ability to develop proficiencies in other computer-based technologies used Company-wide, such as Salesforce and Legal Tracker
- Graduate of a nationally-recognized law school
- Admitted to California Bar (or able to become a California Registered In-House Counsel)
