Job Summary
Manage, plan, and coordinate daily retail branch operations to ensure efficient workflows and superior member service experiences. Lead by example by directly assisting members, proactively performing site visits, and participating in marketing events to cultivate new relationships. Recruit, hire, evaluate, and supervise staff while analyzing staffing needs and conducting regular performance reviews, promotions, and corrective actions. Implement internal audits, security controls, and loss prevention standards to safeguard funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory laws and industry best practices. Maintain facility safety and appearance while coaching associates on product knowledge and service skills.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience in the financial service industry
- Minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience in management within a financial institution
- Mastery level knowledge of branch depository and loan operations
- Demonstrated knowledge in the methods and principles of financial services practices and standards including product offerings
- Strong Member relationship building skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to be productive, multitasked, results oriented, with good computer aptitude
- Thorough understanding of physical security, internal controls, and loss prevention standards and practices in a financial services environment
- Previous experience and ability to train developing Member Service and Financial Service representatives in sound practices of their related job duties and responsibilities
- Experience with writing and conducting employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Experience preparing employee skill assessments, performing skill observations and conducting employee coaching sessions
- Must be eligible to be bonded through a fidelity bond to cover employee loss and risk
