Job Summary
Prepare beverages and food according to the planned menu and provide service to customers under the guidance of the Café Manager. Assist with initial set up, clearing tables, packing up, washing up, and waste disposal while maintaining high standards of neatness and hygiene. Replenish food stocks, ensure items are within use-by dates, and store and label all food correctly in compliance with safety standards. This role involves handling money and requires a Police Check. Volunteers gain experience in customer service and food preparation within a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, handling and service
- Relevant food handling qualifications as required by local council authorities
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check
