UXO Technician I

Job Summary
Conduct UXO surface sweeps, subsurface clearances, and avoidance surveys while operating metal detectors and preparing firing systems for demilitarization. Transport demolition materials and assist in inspecting munitions for explosive hazards, then construct protective works in rugged terrain. Perform duties requiring 50-pound lifts, prolonged standing, and extended walking over uneven ground in adverse weather conditions. This remote role with 100% travel potential involves fieldwork lasting up to 12 hours, supported by a team restoring natural resources and managing military munitions contamination across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, regulators, project team members, and company management
- Minimum 0 - 3 years of commercial UXO experience
- Graduate of a formal course of instruction appropriate to this skill level
- Must be able to perform all functions enumerated for UXO Sweep Personnel and UXO Technician
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
- Must be able to travel up to 100%
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- A favorable pre-hire drug test
- A favorable pre-hire physical
- U.S. citizenship

- Trimble GPS/PDA
- CDL with hazmat endorsements
- Computer knowledge with MS Windows

- BA of BS degree
