Job Summary
Own UX/UI design execution across modern digital products and web applications, translating user needs and business requirements into functional solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to present prototypes and validate designs through qualitative and quantitative research. Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes while contributing to design systems and ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance. Partner with development teams to ensure accurate implementation and iterate based on feedback. Candidates must be based in the Greater Chicago area or Northwest Indiana for this hybrid-remote role. Compensation targets $70,000-$80,000 with optional medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in UX, UI, or Product Design in an enterprise environment
- Portfolio showcasing at least three real-world case studies demonstrating end-to-end design work
- Proficiency with Figma (or similar tools), including auto-layout, component libraries, variables, and prototyping
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design outcomes
- Ability to communicate design decisions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams
- Curiosity and willingness to stay current with UX tools, technologies, and design patterns
- This position can be performed on a hybrid-remote basis, however candidates should be based in the Greater Chicago area or Northwest Indiana
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS or front-end development concepts
- Experience designing for B2B or enterprise SaaS platforms
- Experience contributing to or working within scaled design systems
- Background in graphic design, asset creation, motion design, or video editing
