Job Summary
Partner with Product Managers to gather and refine project requirements, ensuring designs align with user needs and business goals. Conduct user research and customer interviews to validate ideas and inform design decisions. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web features, iterating based on feedback. Work closely with engineering teams to answer implementation questions and ensure final products match design intent. Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives to keep design in sync with development. Stay current on UX/UI trends and best practices. This individual contributor role supports the full design process for PDQ's SaaS web products, helping thousands of IT professionals work faster and with greater confidence.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of product design experience on customer-facing web SaaS products
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate user flows and design intent
- Proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
- Portfolio (including at least one case study showcasing UI and UX abilities) required with application
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing for IT, developer-focused, or enterprise SaaS products
- Familiarity with device management, endpoint security, or similar IT domains
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Exposure to design systems or component libraries
