Job Summary
Lead mobile product design for streaming experiences at Roku, focusing on mobile app features that enhance content discovery, playback, and management. Conceptualize and deliver designs, communicate rationale with artifacts (wireframes, flows, specs), and contribute across the product development lifecycle from discovery to AB testing. Conduct and participate in design reviews with stakeholders, balance qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and User Researchers to identify problems, goals, and optimal research methods. Demonstrate expertise in mobile UX, streaming product patterns, and end-to-end design execution, delivering a high-performing, world-class experience.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years relevant experience in Mobile Product Design
- Proficiency in delivering consumer mobile app experiences with Material and iOS design guidelines
- Experience designing for streaming experiences
- Experience designing patterns and components across product surfaces (mobile, tablet)
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and iterate rapidly
- Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and management
- Hands-on experience with User Researchers or conducting user research to shape designs
- A passion for high-performing, world-class experiences
