Job Summary
The UX Designer, Assistant Vice President will help rebuild the UI/UX of Morgan Stanley financial products to enhance user experience by reducing clicks, automating selections, and integrating complex workflows. The role involves working closely with the UX lead to execute the product vision, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data with the research team, and delivering responsive solutions for web and mobile interfaces. Candidates should have extensive experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio, preferably a bachelor’s degree in design or a related field, and a collaborative mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years as a UX designer
- outstanding portfolio demonstrating business and user needs solutions
- experience with design thinking methods
- ability to create and present a variety of design deliverables
- experience advocating for all user abilities
Desired Qualifications
- master’s degree preferred
- excellent skills in Figma
- experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience
- ability to leverage research, wireframes and prototypes effectively
