Job Summary
Own and drive user experience across key product areas from early concept through delivery and iteration, translating complex scientific workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces. Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes and user journeys while leveraging AI tools for rapid prototyping and exploration. Evolve the design system by contributing components and patterns, then collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Scientists to ensure design intent carries through implementation. Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, actively participate in design critiques, and champion user-centred practices including accessibility and responsive design. This 6-month fixed term contract supports the Product Design centre of excellence at Dotmatics, helping define experiences used by millions of scientists in our global digital science platform.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years' experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer
