Job Summary
UX Copywriter at FamApp focuses on crafting clear, engaging, human-centered copy across the product experience for a fintech audience targeting teens. Responsibilities include owning product and UX copy across the app (onboarding, empty states, tooltips, error messages, nudges, banners, transactional communication), writing high-performing push notifications and lifecycle communications, collaborating with product, design, and growth teams to shape intuitive experiences, ensuring consistency with Fam’s tone of voice (clear, sharp, youthful, user-first), participating in campaign ideation for in-app promotions and seasonal moments, and driving experimentation/optimization of copy across CRM and product surfaces. The role requires translating complex fintech concepts into simple communication for young users and contributing to evolving Fam’s overall product voice and communication system across touchpoints.
Required Qualifications
- Under-graduate degree (preferably communication/media/design/marketing)
- 2-4 years of experience in product copy, UX writing, CRM, or content roles
- Strong understanding of UX writing principles and user journeys
- Experience writing for push notifications, in-app communication, onboarding flows, error states, banners, and promotional campaigns
- Portfolio showcasing product/UX copy work
- Strong collaboration skills with product, design, and marketing teams
