Job Summary
Set up, operate, and monitor UV coating line equipment including lacquer applicators, curing lamps, conveyors, and rollers. Load raw materials such as primer, topcoat, glue, and boards into the production line while ensuring correct lacquer viscosity and application weight. Inspect material from the Extrusion process and finished boards for gloss, adhesion, and curing quality to prevent scrap. Conduct product changeovers, equipment cleaning, and mechanical adjustments as needed. Complete accurate production documentation and communicate issues with Production Techs, Maintenance, and Quality. Follow all safety protocols and standard work instructions while maintaining work area cleanliness. Participate in shift handoffs and production meetings to ensure seamless flow. Work minimum 12 hours in varying environments, adhering to attendance policies and break schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Ability to read and follow production schedules
- Ability to read and follow quality standards
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to work in cold environments
- Ability to work in hot environments
- Ability to work in loud environments
- Ability to work for a minimum of 12 hours
- Willingness to work overtime
- Willingness to work other shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with SPC flooring
- Familiarity with UV lacquer materials
- Forklift experience
- Willingness to be trained and certified on forklifts
- Experience in UV Coating
