Job Summary
Utilization Review Specialist to join Banyan Treatment Centers in a Remote role with location in Pompano Beach, FL. Responsibilities include contacting external case managers and managed care organizations for pre-authorization and concurrent reviews during a patient’s treatment stay; verifying insurance benefits, coordinating authorizations, and communicating with managed care providers; conducting admission and continuing-stay reviews to assess medical necessity; collaborating with clinical and billing teams to support discharge planning and timely reimbursement; managing a caseload of 50–75 patients and authorizing 15–25 cases daily; identifying utilization trends and resolving issues with insurers. Required: High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of utilization review experience in psychiatric or chemical dependency contexts. Required Qualifications
