Job Summary
Review medical necessity for patient stays and coordinate referrals to physician advisors. Manage denials by coordinating with Case Management and monitor hospital resource utilization to ensure efficiency, minimize losses, and maximize reimbursement. Work with stakeholders in the Revenue Cycle Management process and payors. Requires current Maryland license, BSN preferred, and at least two years of acute inpatient utilization review experience. Full-time day shift (8:00am-4:30pm) with weekend commitment. Competitive pay of $40.12-$62.19 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or Compact Multistate License
- At least 2 years of experience in acute inpatient utilization review
- ADN
