Utilization Assistant

Perform pre-certification and negotiate continued stays with third-party payers while gathering data to support case management activities. Coordinate discharge planning with the clinical team, maintain the CRM database, and present case information to third-party payers. Assist in admissions reviews, concurrent reviews, and peer review processes by serving as an information resource and scheduling reviews. Inform management of current patient status, document utilization activities, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. This PRN role requires a Registered Addiction Specialist or similar certification and involves administrative support for the Utilization department.
