Job Summary
Maintain and repair physical structures, grounds, and building systems including HVAC, electrical circuits, plumbing, and carpentry. Troubleshoot and install components while operating small machines like skid steers and forklifts. Perform ground maintenance such as trimming hedges, mowing lawns, and repairing irrigation systems. Document inspections and water supply treatments, manage administrative reporting, and handle custodial duties as needed. Drive to other locations when required to perform similar tasks.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC and basic maintenance troubleshooting experience
- Electrical troubleshooting and installation, with knowledge of 120v.-480v. circuits, single and three phase in a commercial/industrial environment with NFPA70E knowledge
- Electrical controls troubleshooting and repair
- Installation and repair of steel, copper, and PVC pipe fittings
- Experience with carpentry, painting, and plumbing, roll up doors, air and lubrication systems
- Basic familiarity with industrial/commercial environmental disposal procedures and record keeping
- Operation of small machines such as backhoe, skid steer, man lift, scissor lift, and forklift
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and four years of maintenance related experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Must have a valid California driver's license and a clean DMV report allowing independent travel to other company locations
