Job Summary
Prepare and operate service trucks daily, including loading materials, removing debris, and cleaning equipment. Communicate with office staff via radio and phone to complete reports and log daily services. Operate assigned vehicles for travel while navigating safely. Excavate service and main leaks, isolate damage, and repair or replace assets such as meters, boxes, valves, and hydrants. Flush mains and perform maintenance on all necessary functions. Collect water samples for laboratory testing and regulatory reporting. Respond to customer service items and urgent requests as a priority. Perform work at height and in confined spaces for reservoir maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or possession of a GED
- Previous experience as an Operation Maintenance Worker or a Utility Worker-Construction
- Ability work at height and in confined spaces for cleaning and maintenance of reservoirs
- Valid Washington driver's license
- Insurable under our plan
- Washington State Water Distribution Manager 1 AND Cross Connection Control Specialist certifications
- Washington State Water Distribution Manager 2 AND Cross Connection Control Specialist certifications
- Washington State Water Distribution Manager 3 AND Cross Connection Control Specialist certifications
