Job Summary
Clean and maintain hygienic work areas by removing refuse, clearing tables between seatings, and transporting service-ware to the kitchen. Wash dishes by hand or dishwasher, scrape food from dirty items, and stock, date, and rotate food while checking temperatures. Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment using specific chemicals, including floors, walls, windows, and heavy machinery. Assist guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to servers or supervisors. Load and unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas. Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to sanitary standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- 6 months' experience working in retail or food service environment
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and receive instructions
- Experience in dealing with problems involving guest service
- Food handlers permit, as required by law
- Brand certification, as required
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time
