Job Summary

Operate and maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools for water and wastewater collection systems while performing routine servicing, corrective maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery. Clean heavy equipment, pumps, and stationary tools; inspect vehicles and perform lubrication tasks such as oil changes and greasing. Load, unload, haul, and spread sand, gravel, dirt, sludge, and waste products; dig and refill ditches and trenches. Maintain grounds by cutting grass, trimming trees, and caring for ornamental plantings. Carry materials and respond to pages as requested, adhering to safety procedures and working on-call shifts. Located at 100 Industrial Park Lp SE Rio Rancho, NM.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Possess a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement
  • Must obtain a Level I certification in wastewater within an 18-month period from date of hire
  • Basic knowledge in the operation and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, farm machinery, pumps and equipment used in and around water and wastewater systems
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools and equipment commonly used in the maintenance of vehicles, equipment, structures, and buildings
