Job Summary
Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances, and operate machinery used in the production process. Place products for further processing, inspecting, and wrapping, while examining items to verify conformance to quality standards. Start equipment to begin production, observe operations to detect malfunctions, and remove waste material. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually, transferring materials between storage and work areas. Mix ingredients according to specified procedures and mark and tag products. Perform duties related to production and meeting shipping deadlines, maintaining plant and equipment cleanliness. Work Sunday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- Successful applicants must be willing and able to frequently stand, walk, bend, crawl as well as push/pull items while working in a fast-paced environment of varying temperatures and with possible slippery surfaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
