Job Summary
Assist with general maintenance of the water distribution system, including meter change-outs, water main and service repair/replacement, and water storage tank maintenance. Perform general property maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and sorting, while handling customer notifications and 1-inch and smaller meter change-outs independently. Work outdoors in all weather conditions and be available for overtime during emergency or planned job assignments. Operate company vehicles and utilize hand and power tools as needed. Maintain proper conduct and communicate effectively with the public, employees, and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Strong mechanical/pipefitting/construction aptitude
- Valid, appropriate Arizona driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Physically able to perform job duties that may require walking, bending, kneeling, digging, and lifting items of at least seventy-five (75) pounds in weight
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to work outdoors in all occasions
- Ability to be available to work overtime in emergency as well as planned job assignments
