Job Summary
Entry-level Utility Worker I supports water distribution maintenance including meter change-outs, water main/service repair, and water storage tank upkeep. Works under UW III/IV supervision, assists with property maintenance, customer notifications, and prepares legible reports. Must work outdoors in all weather, be able to lift at least 75 pounds, and be available for overtime (emergency and planned). Requires high school completion and an Arizona driver’s license. Skills include mechanical/pipefitting/construction aptitude, use of hand and power tools, and reliability in independent and team tasks. Casagrande, AZ location; full-time role with potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate
- Pipefitting or construction experience preferred, but not required
- Must have a valid, appropriate Arizona driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be physically able to perform job duties involving lifting at least 75 pounds and outdoor work in all weather
