Job Summary
Operate machines and mobile equipment in municipal Water Treatment Facilities, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage/optimize plant performance including monitoring turbidity, mono-chloramines, and chlorine. Read and interpret blueprints/drawings; perform volume, flow, and chemical dosage calculations; work in confined spaces and handle hazardous chemicals. Provide technician guidance, collaborate with other departments, and support rural facilities via remote monitoring. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook expected. Must have strong organizational and time-management skills and climb/lift up to 50 lbs. This role requires Level III or IV Water Treatment certification and a valid Class 5 or G driver’s license, with 3+ years of relevant experience and fluent English.
