Job Summary
Prune treetops and repair damaged trees by trimming or removal for major electric utility providers. Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects while applying tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines. Maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and supporting ground crew. Complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program, First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire. Requires a valid driver's license and Commercial Driver's License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement. Travel up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- valid driver's license
- Up to 25% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
- line clearance experience or other related tree work
- relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
- ISA Certified Arborist®
- ISA Certified Tree Worker®
- TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®
