Job Summary
Maintain and repair distribution-center equipment and facilities, including battery care and changes, baler operation, minor preventive maintenance, and basic building repairs. Perform basic repairs to equipment, assemble/disassemble equipment with basic tools, inspect safety harnesses, and complete maintenance-related logs. Perform housekeeping duties, assist with exterior grounds, and support maintenance mechanics as needed; requires basic carpentry and plumbing skills, comfort with power tools, and the ability to work independently at times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six months to one year experience in a maintenance environment
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Working in outside climates
- Familiar with basic hand tools
- Comfortable with working at different heights
- Familiar with OSHA / NFPA standards
- Maintains safe work practices including PPE and LOTO
- Ability to work in a team environment
