Utility Technician

Job Summary
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on utility systems, including water, gas, and electrical infrastructure. Diagnose and troubleshoot utility system failures, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized utility services and repairs. Document maintenance activities and update system records to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Participate in system upgrades and installations, providing technical support and expertise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement utility efficiency programs. This role requires a high school diploma, two years of utility maintenance experience, and certifications in utility operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in utility maintenance or operations
- Strong understanding of utility systems and infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair techniques specific to utility systems
- Experience with advanced utility management software and tools
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Desired Qualifications
