Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs on water, wastewater, and drainage facilities, including routine inspections, landscaping tasks like mowing and weed control, and facility upkeep such as painting and minor building repairs. Operate hand and power tools, manage inventory of parts and supplies, and assist with excavation, shoveling, and site cleanup. Support emergency response activities as needed while working outdoors in all weather conditions. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to safely use equipment including jackhammers and concrete saws. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment, including jackhammers and concrete saws
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around water and wastewater facilities
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Frequently lift 50-80 pounds
- Walk, climb, bend, and work in physically demanding environments
- Access confined spaces and use ladders when needed
- Successful completion of background screening
- Successful completion of drug testing
- Successful completion of driving record review
