Job Summary
The Utility System Technician-Associate Level Wastewater position involves general maintenance of sewer systems and requires a high school diploma, relevant certifications, and a Colorado CDL Class A license.
Required Qualifications
- Must have or obtain Colorado Class I certification in Water Distribution and/or Wastewater Collection within one year of employment
- BNSF Railroad Safety Certification
- Union Pacific Railroad Safety Certification
- Flagger certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
- A valid Colorado CDL Class A drivers license
- A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of public works and of wastewater and stormwater systems construction, operation, and maintenance
- Knowledge of city safety policies and procedures
- Good customer service skills
