Job Summary
Deliver underground utility surveys to PAS128 standards using electromagnetic locating and ground penetrating radar technologies. Operate Radiodetection and Vivax equipment, process survey data, and produce outputs in AutoCAD. Lead field teams, supervise trainees, and ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently. Maintain equipment and support topographical and drainage survey information. Requires minimum two years' experience, ProQual qualification, and full UK driving licence. Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years' experience working as an Underground Utility Surveyor
- Hold or be working towards a ProQual qualification
- Highly proficient in the use of Radiodetection and Vivax electromagnetic locating equipment
- Competent in the operation of Ground Penetrating Radar systems
- Experience delivering PAS128 utility surveys
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Understanding of drainage principles in relation to site surveys and design
- Experience delivering high-quality work within agreed timescales
- Awareness of topographical survey principles
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior survey staff
- Strong health and safety awareness and commitment to safe systems of work
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel regularly and stay away from home when required
