Utility Steward

Utility Steward at a luxury resort adjacent to Waikiki (Espacio The Jewel of Waikiki). Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwashing, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing, and trash compactor. Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment; store clean wares properly; use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink. Inspect, pull, and re-scrub/re-wash items; rack and spray items with hot water to remove residue. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware; breakdown dirty bus tubs; empty and maintain trashcans and recyclables. Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments; dispose of glass properly; break down cardboard; manage recyclables. Follow safety policies and participate in safety trainings. Move, lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds; stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees; maintain professional communication and positive teamwork. Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs other duties as requested by supervisors.
