Job Summary
Utility Staff performs dish and pot washing, general cleaning in the kitchen and dining room, assists in ordering and storage of food and non-food products, sets up and maintains dishwashing areas, distributes and stores clean pots and utensils, sanitizes production equipment and work surfaces, assists in food preparation as directed, and ensures a safe kitchen environment. Requires high school education; knowledge of state food-handling rules and OSHA/fire-safety procedures preferred; Florida Level 2 background screening required. Includes duties around safety of residents and reporting equipment malfunctions; engages in CORE Values through servant leadership and participates in required training and community activities.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school education
- Experience in cooking for large groups a plus
- Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA Standards and fire and safety procedures preferred
- Knowledge of fire and safety procedures
