Job Summary
Utility Specialist at Austin Industrial in Channelview, TX. Responsible for maintaining water and tank cleaning efforts while staying compliant with RCRA disposal, DOT regulations, and HAZWOPER certifications. Performs tasks safely, maintains trash route, monitors facility rain outfalls, directs the Containers Storage Area, oversees vacuum trucks with chemical and water (including oil spills), maintains sumps and containment, performs light maintenance on machinery, supports tank cleaning during spills, handles shipping and transportation of site waste, and collects time sheets for up to 10 direct reports. Follows quality policies and other duties as assigned. Requires TWIC and a Valid Driver's License, 1 year of experience; no education minimum specified.
