Job Summary
Position in Town of Gypsum in Public Works as Utility Services Technician I, performing operation and maintenance of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including testing, installing, repairing, replacing, inspecting services, reading meters, backflow/pressure reducing systems, analyzing work orders, troubleshooting, and completing installation and acceptance tests; requires ability to read various documents, operate computer with GIS data, and wear PPE; must be available for evenings/weekends/holidays emergencies; valid CO driver’s license with CDL rating may be required for some positions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year of hands-on experience reading, installing, connecting, disconnecting, repairing, fabricating or calibrating water meters
