Job Summary
Operate tow motors, hand carts, presses, and assemblers to move product, materials, and boxes while changing propane tanks and utilizing wrapping machines. Create production labels, sheets, and crate tickets; assess inventory of packaging materials; and make gaylord boxes and lids. Perform all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and FDA requirements, reporting hazards immediately. Collect scrap and trash, retrieve and clean crates and skids, and assist with grinding materials. Calculate production and scrap numbers. Work a morning shift from 5 AM to 3 PM Monday through Saturday as needed at a climate-controlled manufacturing plant.
Required Qualifications
- High Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills to create labels, sheets, and crate tickets
- Ability to stand for 12 hours
- Ability to lift up to 26 lbs. (sometimes overhead) on a regular basis
- Ability to climb ladders
