Job Summary
Perform inspection, maintenance, and restoration of utility infrastructure while directly supervising field crews; plan, organize, and coordinate daily field operations for various job types; hire, train, and manage a crew of up to ten; ensure safety, quality, and efficiency; operate and transport materials/equipment to job sites; maintain records for timekeeping, payroll, and work performed; ensure adherence to company policies and customer specifications; require strong communication, leadership, and technical skills; willingness to travel and work in outdoor, variable conditions; training includes Foreman Program and potential certifications (First Aid/CPR, pesticide, DOT-related) and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of Foreman Training Program
- Valid state driver's license with no DUI/DWI convictions in the previous five years (may be reduced to two years with rehabilitation evidence)
- First Aid and CPR certifications (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross)
- Possibly pesticide applicator license
- DOT medical exam (may be required)
- Ability to follow complex procedures and maps; strong data collection skills; basic math for rate/ratio/percent
