Job Summary
Lead and supervise daily field operations for utility pole assessment, maintenance, and restoration crews while ensuring strict adherence to safety policies and company standards. Coordinate work assignments, train and mentor crew members on operational procedures, and maintain vehicles and equipment in safe working conditions. Complete documentation, reports, and project updates accurately, while monitoring quality, productivity, and safety performance across the team. Communicate professionally with customers, utility representatives, and community members to represent the organization positively. Requires full-time, year-round employment with extensive local, statewide, or regional travel exceeding 80%, plus overtime opportunities during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience
- Ability to safely operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as business needs require
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Ability to maintain the mobility and physical capability necessary to safely perform all essential job functions
- Travel is expected to exceed 80%
- Frequent overnight travel Monday through Friday throughout one or more states may be required
- Extended workweeks and occasional weekend work may be necessary during peak seasons or special projects
