Job Summary

Oversee the operation of cooling towers, blowers, chillers, cogeneration systems, and boilers while ensuring guest comfort through building automation controls. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, developing preventive maintenance instructions and updating equipment documentation. Coordinate with HVAC and Electrical departments to troubleshoot building system issues and partner with vendors for specialized repairs. Respond to emergency situations requiring quick decision-making to mitigate safety concerns and resolve immediate plant operating issues. Maintain accurate logs of all operating data, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires five years of facility maintenance experience, trade school training, and ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of five (5) years of facility maintenance experience
  • Progressive cogeneration operation experience
  • Power plant operation experience
  • Diesel generator operation experience
  • Central chilled water plant operation experience
  • Central hydraulic system operation experience
  • Boiler plant operation experience
  • Trade school (HVAC, electrical) or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
  • Strength sufficient to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 40 pounds occasionally

  • Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences
